Friendship

Naturally, human being can’t live without friends. Friends are the group of people who stand by you in both good and bad times. However, sometimes life forces us to separate from them and to make new ones. It often happens when we go to college where we, most of the time, had to stay at the same room with someone we don’t know. Making new relationships is a sensitive issue, especially when you about to live with someone for a long time like a roommate. I believe students should meet outside first to discuss the various and they should improve their communication skills in order to get along with their new roommates.
Meeting outside before moving to the new residence is very important for the roommates. It is a great chance which allows the new students introduce themselves, talk about their experiences and habits. They also can discuss various daily issues like studying environment, food if it’s shared and noise levels. A college housing coordinator (Jonathan Elston) talked in interview about the importance of discussing various issues in the first meeting (video1). He says that know roommates should make implicit norms explicit so that each person knows what is important to the other. He also says that it is important to discuss deeper issues like how the rent will be paid, who’s names on the bills, which types of services will be shared and it will be better if they talked about their experiences and their worst situation (video1). This is important because you will try your best to leave a good impressing. As we can see meeting the roommates outside before moving to the residence means knowing the person you are going to live with throughout the year.
Improving communicating skills is not only important to deal with the new roommates. It is also important in all areas of our lives like work, home and friends ( video2). Being a good communicator means being really good at engaging with people, understanding their feelings and knowing how to hold a conversations (video2) . If you want to be a good communicator, then you need to know how to use body language, use open-ended questions, activate your listening and avoiding antagonistic sentences. It is also very important to consider in mind your roommate feelings and believes instead of enforcing him to agree with you ( video2). And remember, the more you develop you communication skills the more easier it will be for you to get along with your partner and to feel comfortable living with him.

In conclusion, roommates need to arrange outside meeting and improve their communication skills before moving on to live on campus. The relationship between you and your roommate could reflect positively or negatively directly on both of you. And if things work out with your room mates they could be like your second family(video1). I believe that everyone needs friends and cant live without them.

Abu Dhabi and Dubai

There is many places to visit in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. First if I was with a tourist I would take him to the shopping mall. There are many shopping malls in Dubai and it’s the best, we can go shopping, watch movies and eat. There are many Islands in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai , such as palm tree island in Dubai its new and its in the middle of the beach. It has many hotels, houses and water parks many people enjoy going there, its amazing. Also I will take him to jumirah beach where they have a marina for yachts with a very nice view and we can have a BBQ party there. And of course we will go to the global village to see parts of every country in the world and learn about their culture . If its in Abu Dhabi I would take him to the Emirates palace . which is the biggest hotel in Abu Dhabi and where the film festival was held. I will, also take him to al ain to visit hafet’s mountain where clean and hot water comes out from the middle of the mountain , which is also a good place for camping and enjoying the nice weather.

Learning disabilities

Learning disabilities are lifelong conditions, affecting the lives of a lot of people. There’s a lot of learning disabilities , for example, dyslexia , dyscalculid , dysgraphia and dyspraxia. This essay will talk about Dyslexia , which is a serious problem and it can be helped by support from others ( reading).

Dyslexia means having difficulty in reading or writing and spelling, for example, people who suffer from dyslexia can write letters and words backwards. Sometimes it could be caused by illness and injury during birth (reading). People who has dyslexia can have problems at school and with the teachers, but not all people are aware of their problem (reading). Most of them don’t always have a great life, they have to repeat many grades in school and suffer a lot (reading).

There are no treatments which can cure dyslexia , however, people can help dyslexia kids with giving them support. They also should be put in special schools, where everyone will have attention and get the help he or she needs( reading). Dyslexia doesn’t have to stop a person from achieving goals. Help will always be available to stop their struggles. It is never too late to get help for dyslexia, at all ages and every stage of life(reading).

In conclusion, dyslexia is a serious problem , but it can be helped by having support from others. I think that people should never lose hope and they will be able to lead successful , functioning lives

what is the worst thing parents can do to children?

To children parents are the most importan thing in their lives. But parents are not perfect, no one is perfect. Sometimes parents treat their children in a bad way. Tho worst thing they can do is beating the children up. Its very bad to beat children up, even if they did something wrong or wont lesten to their parents they shouldnt be treated like this. There are many ways of punishment and beating isnt the best one to choose. It will effect the children in a bad way and in the future they will do the same to their children.
